🧪 Research Monitoring Committee (RMC)
The Research Monitoring Committee (RMC) of MSB, reconstituted in accordance with prior circular LCE/R&D/CIR-1/2018-19, is dedicated to promoting and supervising the institution’s research and development initiatives. Governed by MSB’s vision of fostering innovation, academic excellence, and industry collaboration, the RMC plays a pivotal role in shaping research culture at the college.

🔸 Responsibilities of the Research Monitoring Committee
- Strategic Planning & SOP Formulation
- Define short- and long-term goals for R&D.
- Draft and submit a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for institutional research activities.
- Monitoring Research Outputs
- Ensure steady growth in faculty and student publications.
- Track performance against NAAC/UGC/Scopus benchmarks.
- Promotion of Student Research
- Encourage participation in internships, research projects, and MOOC programs.
- Supervise UG/PG dissertation/project work.
- Information Dissemination
- Circulate updates on conferences, journals, funding calls, and workshops.
- Publish newsletters, brochures, and web alerts.
- Faculty Development & Mentorship
- Facilitate participation in FDPs, national/international conferences, and skill development workshops.
- Organize research orientation sessions with industry and academic experts.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Feedback
- Collect and act on inputs from departments, alumni, recruiters, and the Training & Placement Cell.
- Submit feedback reports to the Head of Institution every semester.
