At MITS School of Biotechnology (MSB), Bhubaneswar, quality is the cornerstone of our academic philosophy. To institutionalize excellence and sustain a culture of continuous improvement, MSB has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to develop a quality framework that ensures academic and administrative excellence, fostering innovation, employability, and global competitiveness in education, research, and extension activities.

• Quality Enhancement: To ensure continuous improvement in the teaching-learning process, research activities, and extension services.
• Curriculum Development: To review and recommend curriculum updates aligned with global and industry standards.
• Research & Innovation: To promote a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary research.
• Feedback Mechanism: To establish structured feedback systems from students, parents, alumni, and industry.
• Best Practices: To document and disseminate innovative practices across the institution.
• Accreditation & Benchmarking: To prepare the institution for NAAC and other quality accreditations by adhering to benchmarks of academic excellence.

• Designing and implementing academic and administrative quality benchmarks.
• Conducting academic audits and evaluating performance indicators.
• Organizing workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs (FDPs).
• Facilitating collaborations with industries, research institutes, and academic bodies.
• Monitoring the effective use of ICT and e-resources for teaching and evaluation.
• Promoting community engagement, extension activities, and social responsibility.
