  • MITS School of Biotechnology (MSB) was established in 2003 and functions as a self-financed, co-educational institution under the guidance of Chairman and founder, Shri Balakrishna Panda, through the Basantdevi Charitable Trust. Its main objective is to promote education in the fields of Life Science, IT and management. MSB campus in Infocity, Bhubaneswar spans 1.269 acres and holds permanent recognition from the Higher Education Department of the Odisha Government, affiliated with Utkal University. It adheres to Utkal University's prescribed course structures and syllabi for programs such as B.Sc. (Biotechnology and Information Technology & Management), B.C.A., and M.Sc. (Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology). Admissions follow Utkal University rules, with fee structures aligning with Higher Education Department norms. MSB's PG and UG courses offer excellent career prospects for science graduates and 12th students seeking professional paths.
MSB employs e-governance for decentralized management, bias-free examination processes, and collaborations for practical exposure in life science and IT.
